The West Cheshire Video Club was formed about 18 years ago, by a group of camcorder enthusiasts who wanted to improve their film making skills by pooling their experiences and
knowledge. Over the years we have learned much from each other and visiting speakers. We meet every other Monday using the facilities at St Thomas's Church Hall in Ellesmere Port, meetings start 8.00 pm doors open at 7.30 pm. The Club has no formal association with the St. Thomas’s church. Our members come from North Wales, Chester, Ellesmere Port, West Cheshire and the Wirral areas. Currently we have around twenty members. We hold regular film competitions within the club and an annual social night near Christmas. The club is affiliated to the Film & Video Institute (also known as the IAC) and benefits from services provided by the organisation. Visit the IAC website: click here If you are interested in more information about the Club please come along on a Monday evening or contact us via our e-mail link.
